Our Story

Our Call to Missionary Acres

We like to call it the scenic route — a decade of preparation for a work we didn't see coming until we were nearly there.

Though we have known for a long time that God was leading us into full-time service, we did not know until our mid 30's what that service would look like. Our call to Missionary Acres is what we like to refer to as "the scenic route."

For over a decade, God was slowly working on us. He used that time to help us grow and prepare to serve at Missionary Acres — bringing us mentors, education, and experiences during those years of preparation. Looking back, we can see how these seemingly random things uniquely prepared us to serve at the Acres.

God also used this preparation period to help us learn to rely on Him.

We are excited about following Him throughout the path He lays before us.
